Story

For Design of Lavasan villa, attention to view and cold climate shaped the main ideas. by creating cuts in the cube and moving them, half stories were created that not only divided different functions, it also opened the view from every direction. Conscious play with levels created an active and attractive experience for users while giving proper exposure of light for all spaces. Some ideas used in design process included: creating half storey for panorama views, creating a greenhouse, the pools and Trombe wall for thermal storage, a hot tub with panoramic view to the site suspended over the second floor and etc.
