The design of the Kashani residential project was referred to the office with the challenge of the condition of the existing structure and the implemented terraces. Due to the central staircase and terraces on both sides, symmetry and uniformity were imposed on the main facade, so the main idea of the design was formed by trying to disrupt this symmetry and create a unified facade. In the first stage, by adding vertical lines to the facade, a proportional and balanced structure was formed. Then by sliding the lines, the facade proportions were integrated with the original structure. The design of the roof garden allowed for continuity with the main facade lines, creating different spaces and framing beautiful views. Additionally, the terrace lines influenced the interior spaces, visually separating the semi-public kitchen area from the public space (living room) through the use of different materials.
